Young American football players given luxurious watches

Lucky, young and talented American football players have been given Fossil watches for succeeding in a number of bowl games in the US this winter, it has been revealed.

The top talents in the sport have been working hard this month as a series of small and large championships between old and new rivals has seen a number of winners, with a few teams being awarded Fossil watches for their efforts, according to the Sports Business Journal.

Such bowls include the Valero Alamo Bowl in San Antonio, the Chick-Fil-A Bowl in Atlanta or the famous Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl in Nashville.

Other gifts include caps, hats, footballs, blankets, Sony gift suites, HP netbooks and surfing backpacks, while even luckier winners can take home a camcorder or iPod.

Fossil watches are aiming to expand their sales force after it announced that Tom Kennedy and Brigitte Cooperman have been given senior management positions within the retail side of the firm.
