Women 'are becoming more demanding' about the watches they want

Watches used to be just a way of keeping track of the time for many busy women, but they are now much more than that.

Kirsten Crisford from Seiko told Watch Pro she has noticed the ladies' watch market growing rapidly in recent times, driven by women being more demanding about the styles they wear.

"Alongside style and sophistication, they are looking for technical expertise and something a bit different," she commented.

For instance, females seem to be liking diamonds at the moment, while ceramic faces, leather straps and rose gold are also popular features.

Ms Crisford said Seiko is popular with ladies as well as men because the brand produces attractive watches that offer value for money and also longevity.

There are lots of great Seiko watches at Watch Shop, including the beautiful Ladies Coutura Diamond and the clever Ceramic Solar-Powered.

You can even get them on next-day delivery if you want them really quickly.
