Watch lovers given interactive experience

People hoping to get themselves a new Tissot watch have been given the chance to try one on in a rather unique way.

Using Holovis 3D technology, visitors to Selfridge''s can digitally place different watches on their wrist with a 360-degree view.

A total of 28 Tissot watches can be tried on, giving the wearer the chance to experiment with a variety of straps and dials.

Lynne Murray, brand director for Holition, commented: "Using fully-immersive augmented reality, Holition is enabling upmarket brands to remain cutting-edge and experience a much higher level of consumer engagement with the product."

The experience will be available for two weeks between 09:00 and 21:00 GMT at the Oxford Street branch of the store.

Tissot watches was founded in 1853, where it first started out in the Jura Mountains.

It now has a presence across more than 150 countries and is an official partner of many sportswear brands, including MotoGP and Nascar.
