Watch brand launches timepiece in India

Fans of Omega watches in India will soon have the chance to pick up one of its most iconic timepieces for women.

The company has announced the release of the Ladymatic in the country, with Jean-Claude Monachon, vice-president and head of product development at Omega, explaining to the Hindustan Times that while creating a classic yet innovative timepiece is standard for the company, it had to do something exceptional for the ladies watch.

"Keeping the aesthetic feel of the watch line in harmony with the brand essence requires the touch of brilliance. Omega's Ladymatic is a clear testament to this very fact," Mr Monachon said.

He added that the watch showcases what a woman's timepiece should be like in the 21st century.

An actress who may like the timepiece is Isha Koppikar, after it was reported that the Bollywood star is a big fan of watches and owns several designer products.
