Vulcain watch targets 'vintage enthusiast'

First published: 18-02-2011

Long-time watch fans may want to check out a Vulcain timepiece, after it was described as being "truly delightful for any vintage enthusiast".

This is according to the Watch Observer, which was impressed enough by the features of the Vulcain Cricket 50s Presidents' Watch to reward the device with a rating of 70.5 out of 100.

Some of the appealing features of this timepiece can be found by glimpsing at its face, which is highlighted by a sunray surface dial, offering a colour between smoky grey and khaki.

The news source noted: "Its applied markers, efficiently sized, along with the flatted Dauphine hands, really help in reading the time easily."

A bulky case diameter measuring in at 42mm makes it easy for wearers to read the time, while a sleek date window at six o'clock adds to the value.

Vulcain, which was formed back in 1858, finishes this timepiece off with an elegant alligator strap.
