Vintage items on trend, says expert

There is a growing demand for vintage fashion items at the moment, an industry expert has said.

Sally Stanton of Sally's Jewellery, emphasised that consumers like to feel that they own something truly unique.

"Why go and get something which is a copy of an original that you can own yourself and be different? That's why people always go back to vintage," she commented.

Ms Stanton highlighted that silver jewellery is particularly in vogue at the moment, mainly because it is both glamorous and wearable.

There are many top manufacturers that make vintage-style timepieces, such as Hamilton Watches.
