Versace unveils new watches at Baselworld

First published: 29-04-2013

There are always some exciting things going on at the Baselworld watch fair, which is held in Switzerland every spring to show off the very latest in watch designs to enthusiasts and those in the business.

This year is no exception, with Versace revealing a new line of designer watches that should have fans dying to get their hands on one.

Pursuitist magazine showed off pictures of the new timepieces, which come from the Versus range and are aimed at both men and women.

Versace explained that the brand wanted to explore its options on new digital and non-seasonal directions and so created something that can be worn at any time of year.

The Tokyo, Ibiza and Agadir styles are all as luxurious as you might expect from this fashion house and blend the latest technology with beautiful materials for watches that are very easy on the eye.

We especially love the rich pinky-purple one, which has a face that looked plumped-up like a quilted cushion. It also has a very chic Greek-style pattern around the bezel for added luxury.

The Versus range is not the only one that Versace is adding too though. Play is also receiving new additions in the form of the Vanitas, Thea, V-Race and limited edition Dv One Skeleton, so fans should definitely keep an eye out for these.

As yet, there's no word regarding when these new designer watches will be coming to British stores, but we bet Versace enthusiasts will be very eager to get their hands on one as soon as possible.

In the meantime, if you're in need of a new Versace watch and just can't wait for the new ones to filter through, then we've got all the styles you need at Watch Shop.

A bestseller for the ladies is the Eon Diamond, while gents love the V-Race with its classic black strap.
