Van Cleef & Arpels watches 'feature stunning dials'

First published: 10-03-2011

The watchmaking prowess of Van Cleef & Arpels has been applauded, with the brand producing a wealth of eye-catching devices.

Hodinkee has picked up on a number of features of the company, starting with the fact that each of its timepiece's dials are "stunning".

Another appealing element of this part of Van Cleef & Arpels watches is the fact that they are unique in design, the news source noted.

They added: "The use of translucent paillonne enamel, which is a process of applying several coats of translucent enamel to a wafer thin sheet of gold or silver, creates a brilliant shine."

Furthermore, consumers may be enticed to purchase products from this watchmaker due to the "mechanical prowess that lays inside".

Recently, Van Cleef & Arpels was honoured with the ladies watch prize at the Tenth Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve, thanks to the design elements of its Le Pont des Amoureux ticker, Professional Jeweller reported.
