Vacheron Constantin uses doves for a special watch design

Vacheron Constantin has used the theme of doves as a key point for creating its Only Watch 2011 entry, fashion timepiece fans may want to note.

Entitled the Metiers d'Art Perspectives d'Art "Dove", one of the first design elements which will catch the eye is how the birds, which symbolise love and hope, fit around the dial.

The red and white doves work their way across the watch's face like jigsaw pieces, while gold, enamel and diamond-set elements further enhance the dial's style.

Reading the time comes from clear white hour, minute and second hands, which fit within a 40mm white-gold case.

Other elements of this Vacheron Constantin timepiece include a mechanical self-winding Vacheron Constantin Calibre 2460 powering the device, while the case back design provides a glimpse into the watch's inner functions.

The Only Watch 2011 event is becoming packed with attractive timepiece designs, with Corum, Patek Philippe and Maurice Lacroix among others to have displayed eye-catching devices recently.
