Ulysse Nardin pays tribute to Alexander the Great

Watch fans who are hoping to explore history through their chosen timepiece may want to check out a new device from Ulysse Nardin.

The watch brand's Alexander the Great - Westminster Carillon Tourbillon Jaquemarts Minute Repeater timepiece is highlighted by five hand-crafted figures which dominate its dial.

Each of these Jaquemarts are used to define the Greek hero Alexander the Great clad in armour and ready to do battle.

These all sit across a charcoal background and man-made diamond dial, which further helps the images to catch a consumer's eye, while hour and minute hands sit just below.

A one-minute tourbillon is also able to be viewed with ease, allowing wearers to gain knowledge of the inner workings of this unique timepiece.

Those who decide to opt for this watch will be able to choose between either a white-gold or rose-gold case finish.

Ulysse Nardin has also paid tribute to Mongolian icon Genghis Khan in the past, with a similarly designed timepiece which shows off his legacy.
