Ultimate watch guide launched

Fans of watches will possibly find it hard to hold themselves back from investing in a new release from a clock-loving author.

Forbes highlighted the case of author Fabienne Reybaud, who has released Watches: The Ultimate Guide, detailing anything from Timex watches to some of the world's more expensive wrist clocks.

This means that fans of timepieces will be able to examine trends in the mass market offerings while luxury watches also get a lot of time, including a £1 million beauty from Patek Philippe.

Forbes continued: "But not all pieces featured possess such a lofty price tag. Here, connoisseurs will find sundials, quartz watches, clepsydras and pocket watches. Indeed, this is the definitive volume for both collectors and dreamers."

Patek Philippe watches are not hard to be found, however, particularly given that the Mail on Sunday recently picked up on Lord Mandelson's impressive timepiece by the company, as well as another worn by French president Nicolas Sarkozy.
