Tissot launches new watches for MotoGP

MotoGP fans will no doubt be excitedly anticipating the new season, but so is their official timekeeper Tissot.

The manufacturer of luxury watches has unveiled two new styles to commemorate the 2013 racing, both of which come presented in boxes designed to look like helmets.

One is quartz and the other is mechanical, so there should be something to suit all kinds of tastes.

As a nice touch, there are motorbike-related details on each watch, including a brake disc on the face of one.

"Tissot is proud of its profound link and longstanding partnership of 13 years with MotoGP. The dynamic and fast nature of the sport matches the brand's spirit perfectly," said Tissot's president Francois Thiebaud.

However, the watches are very limited edition, as there will be only 3,333 of the mechanical variety and 8,888 of the quartz type made.

Don't worry too much if you don't manage to get your hands on one though, as we have lots of other great Tissot designs at Watch Shop, including the Men's T-Touch II Alarm Chronograph.
