The appeal of the Vacheron Constantin watch

First published: 07-06-2011

Fashion watch lovers looking for something a bit on the classical design side should glance upon an offering from Vacheron Constantin.

Released in 1948, the timepiece continues to keep ahead of more recent additions on the market, thanks to its eye-catching style choices.

For one, the watch's dial displays attractiveness due to the use of small gold stars for many of the hour markers, while the lugs are styled to hint at a teardrop design.

Most of the face is covered simply in a cream-coloured dial, offering an easy-to-view display, while a blue-toned seconds hand adds some colour to the device.

A case diameter of around 36mm also means that this fashion watch is never a burden to wear, with a black strap finishing off the design with elegance.

Those after a timepiece from Vacheron Constantin that is fresher to the market may want to instead check two new tickers in the Overseas collection.

Both the Overseas Small Model Date Self-Winding and Overseas Chronograph Perpetual Calendar come with an array of dazzling features.
