The appeal of the Panerai 338 watch

First published: 15-07-2011

Watch enthusiasts may find appeal if they are to seek out a new timepiece which has been released by Panerai.

Entitled the Panerai 338, the ticker was first unveiled to consumers back at the SIHH 2010 event, with the device now available to purchase.

There are plenty of reasons to consider buying this watch, with highlight elements including the fact that this is the thinnest 42mm diameter timepiece developed by the brand.

One way that the ticker is able to be so slim is through its in-house produced caliber, the P999/1 measuring just 3.4mm thick.

Some other attractive elements of the device are that the timepiece has a large power reserve of 60 hours, while 100m of water resistance adds to its practicality.

Panerai, which was first opened in 1860 under the watchful eye of Giovanni Panerai, finishes the design off with a brushed titanium case and sleek polished bezel.
