TW Steel watches to partner Renault F1 Team

In a move to raise awareness for the brand, TW Steel watches will now be advertised on the cars of the Renault F1 Team for the next three years.

Announced yesterday (October 28th), TW Steel - meaning The Watch in Steel - has already been spotted on the squad's racing cars at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, though next season will see the branding being extended to team uniforms and driver racewear.

TW Steel chief executive officer Jordy Cobelens said that he believes the partnership with Renault will provide a "tremendous global platform" for the company.

He continued: "Formula One has immense appeal for a young, ambitious brand such as ours and we look forward to activating our relationship with the Renault F1 Team and ultimately engaging the consumer worldwide through a targeted marketing programme."

Mr Corbelens said it is an "exciting time" to be working with Formula One, adding that he is anticipating continued success through the partnership.

TW Steel already has professional tennis player Tommy Robredo as one of its ambassadors.
