TW Steel watches promoted by Aussie swimming legend

Ian Thorpe made his first public appearance for the company at Nader Jewellers in Sydney on Tuesday (December 8th) where he was presented with a collection of watches while posing for photos at the jewellers' annual VIP Night.

Thorpe is an eleven-time world champion in freestyle swimming and a five-time Olympic gold medallist, and is the company's first Australian brand ambassador.

The legendary swimmer said: "I'm naturally very pleased to be working with a brand as engaging as TW Steel. I think their collection is extremely dynamic and well suited to the Australian consumer."

He added that he particularly loves the fact that TW Steel, as a company, shows both youth and ambition, noting that the organisation's commitment to Australia means he is "exceptionally proud to be their first brand ambassador" in the market.

Last month, TW Steel celebrated its sponsorship of the RACSMA Rally of Scotland, the watch brand's first sponsorship of such an event.
