Swiss skier Didier Cuche to promote Corum

Well-known watchmaker Corum has welcomed skier Didier Cuche into its team of brand ambassadors.

The Swiss athlete has been chosen as part of an international positioning method that has been outlined by the brand.

Mr Cuche has recorded plenty of successes on the slopes over the years, with his accomplishments including a quartet of World Championship race medals and a prestigious Olympic medal.

Upon his unveiling as Corum's brand ambassador, he said: "I see in Corum the same motivation I feel in my discipline … We are driven by the same desire for perfection and the same determination to perpetually set ourselves fresh challenges."

The skier joins such names as Loick Peyron and Ben Ainslie as the fresh faces to represent Corum, a Swiss company which first entered the watchmaking market back in 1955.

Attractive devices which the brand has produced which could catch the eye of timepiece enthusiasts include the rugged Admiral's Cup and the elegant Romvlvs.
