Swatch watches for Swedish jetsetters

First published: 06-05-2009

Swatch watches will now be available to travellers passing through Stockholm-Arlanda Airport in Sweden.

The Nuance Group Sweden has opened a new store at the airport's Terminal 5 and will sell Swatch, Police and Guess watches and other accessories.

A Naunce Group sunglasses store has also opened in the shopping area, offering airline passengers the chance to pick up some last minute sun protection before they jet off to warmer climes.

Karl Walter, general manager of the group, explained that the shops will offer a diversity of branded accessories.

He said: "Our strong emphasis on presenting local as well as Scandinavian brands will make the shopping experience particularly relevant and interesting also for visitors to Sweden.

"The new sunglasses concept enjoys a far better location than the previous store and we are ready with our offer to delight all those looking forward to a bright summer."

The announcement comes after Naunce opened a new fashion store in Cologne Bonn Airport in Germany last month.
