Sports watches: Hex unveils iPod Nano strap

People who enjoy pounding the pavements can now wear their iPod Nano like a sports watch, thanks to a new strap from Hex.

The wrist wear is also compatible with the plug-in Nike Plus gadget, which tracks runners' movements, while allowing them to listen to their favourite music at the touch of a button.

Users can easily fit and release their Nano from the strap when required using the special pop in, pop out design, and full access is given to all of the Apple device's buttons and touchscreen interface.

Furthermore, the strap is made from perforated silicone, which provides sports watch fans with breathability and additional comfort during exercise.

Those who are interested should be able to get the strap from April, and it is expected to cost around £20, according to

Apple's latest Nano MP3 player comes in a variety of colours and weighs in at just 21.1 grams.
