Rubber the highlight of new Corum watch

Watch enthusiasts hoping to purchase a device that is a little different from others on the market may want to check out a new offering from Corum.

At this year's BaselWorld event, the watchmaker revealed a limited-edition Admiral's Cup Challenge 44 Chronograph Rubber.

One of the key features of this timepiece is that rubber is featured at all angles, including for the finish of the bracelet, the covering of its stainless steel case and even as coating for the device's crown and pushers.

Some of the other functions of this special watch include three sub-dials decorating its dial, to aid with the time-reading process, as well as a date window appearing at four o'clock.

Consumers will be able to receive a choice of colour finishing for this timepiece too, with red, white and blue the three appealing options.

Corum, a watchmaker that first hit the scene in 1955, is to limit the devices to just 100 units per colour, so buyers will need to be quick to snap up their desired order.
