Watch fans may have noticed that the Classical BRIT Awards 2011 took place last night (May 12th), with Raymond Weil playing a large part in the ceremony.

The timepiece brand once again showed its associations with the music industry by sponsoring the Artist of the Decade Award, which was won by Il Divo.

In order to honour the occasion, Raymond Weil presented two special watches to all performers, winners and presenters, which included Katherine Jenkins and Russell Watson.

One of these was the limited-edition Classic BRIT Awards 2011 Men's Maestro 2827-STC-00659, the device is designed with a 39.5mm handcrafted stainless steel case.

Within this is an elegant silver dial, which is decorated in black roman numerals and also features a visible balance wheel.

Meanwhile, female guests were presented with the limited-edition Classic BRIT Awards 2011 Women's Maestro 2627- SLS-00965, which came with a 30mm stainless steel case and rich mother-of-pearl dial.

Some other winners at this year's Classical BRIT Awards, which was held at the Royal Albert Hall, included Alison Balsom picking up Female Artist of the Year and John Barry being honoured with the Outstanding Contribution to Music prize.
