Raymond Weil creates commemorative watches for Brit Awards

Luxury watch brand Raymond Weil has unveiled a new pair of limited edition watches that have been created to celebrate this year's Brit Awards.

The firm is the official watch and timing partner for the annual extravaganza and always makes special timepieces to honour the collaboration.

This year's are called 2013 Freelancer and they will be given as gifts to performers, presenters and VIP guests of the Brits at the O2 Arena in London on February 20th.

For the men's watch, Raymond Weil has used a 42 mm stainless steel case, a silver dial with rose gold hands and a brown leather strap.

Meanwhile, for the women's style, a 38 mm stainless steel case perfectly complements a bracelet made from the same material and the silver dial with rose gold hands.

On the back of each watch, there is this year's Brit Awards logo and a trademark spotty motif created by Damien Hirst.

Director of Raymond Weil Pierre Bernheim said: "We are delighted to continue our support of The Brit Awards in association with MasterCard for the sixth year in succession."

He added: "We hope everyone likes the new limited edition Brits timepieces that we feel are reflective of the importance of our love of quality and support of such a prestigious event."

It has been rumoured that Beyonce will be performing at this year's ceremony, although she isn't nominated for any prizes this time, since she has been enjoying a career break following the birth of her daughter.

Other acts set to make up the night's entertainment include One Direction and Muse, with both of them up for the Best British Group gong.

Unfortunately, most of us mere mortals won't be lucky enough to receive a goody bag with a Raymond Weil watch inside, but at least you can still get them at a great price from the Watch Shop website.
