Praesto to release limited edition Modern Fliegeruhr

A limited edition aviator style timepiece has been revealed by Chinese-based watchmakers Praesto.

The Praesto Modern Fliegeruhr watch was designed by digital artist Russ Schwenkler and is said to be "an upgraded version of the WWII-era Flieger, the classic German pilot's timepiece.

What separates this watch from its predecessor, though, are the stencil numerals that are displayed on the face, SuperLuminova being applied to the dials and hands becoming skeletonised.

Other features about the timepiece include a water resistance of 200 metres and a diameter of 44mm, along with a 26mm strap, making this a rather large watch in comparison to others in the market.

The watch will be available in three variations, of which they will be only 100 of each made. One features a bead blasted case highlighted by a charcoal dial, another featuring a blue dial instead, with the final one again offering a charcoal dial but this time with a PVD coated case, meaning that watch collectors will have a variety to choose from.
