Patek Philippe reveals the Annual Calendar Regulator

First published: 13-07-2011

The Annual Calendar Regulator is a new timepiece being released by Patek Philippe, which packs in plenty of attractive features to entice watch fans to make a purchase.

For one, the device comes with an Annual Calendar function, which is a popular mechanism for the timepiece brand.

Wearers will be able to gather details of the current date, day and month with this feature, all in easy-to-read windows.

The watch is also the first from Patek Philippe to have a regulator dial design, which allows the timepiece's face to be decorated with a sleek sweeping minute hand.

Hours are then read via a subdial at the 12 o'clock position, while a separate subdial at six o'clock displays seconds to consumers.

Meanwhile, Patek Philippe has recently revealed its Only Watch 2011 entry, in the form of the Reference 3939A.

Some elements packed into this special ticker include an elegant stainless steel design and elements of black enamel detailing across its dial.
