Past, Present Future Watch released by Yanko

A lot of people may be short of time - so short, in fact, that they don't even have the time to read the time.

This is where Yanko Design's newest offering comes in to help; instead of wasting precious seconds that could be spent reading more complex (yet arguably cooler) displays such as those found on Tokyo Flash watches, the company only gives you the snippet of the clock you need.

Essentially, two cogs operate around the perimeter of the watch face and are largely obscured by a white film, which exposes all but a small gap at the top of the watch - traditionally-speaking, where the 12 is found on a regular watch.

A red line labelled Present runs straight through it, while one cog displays the hours and another shows minutes, while the left and right of the opening is labelled Past and Future respectively.

It follows the release of the Maze of Time, a design which uses a range of rectangles to deliver the clock in four separate numbers.
