Watch enthusiasts may be interested in a special-edition timepiece from Panerai, which is styled with the older material of bronze.

Entitled the 1950 3-Days Bronze, otherwise known as the PAM 382, the product will be limited to just 1,000 pieces and features a bulky 47mm case, which houses a classic minimalist dial, Hodinkee reported.

The addition of bronze across the timepiece's design makes it one which appeals to those after a product which can tell a story via the wearer's wrist, according to the news source.

Its author explained: "Bronze is a wonderfully living alloy of copper and tin … that has unique patina right out of the … box and will only take on more character as it is further exposed to the elements."

Other appealing elements of this Panerai watch include a unidirectional rotating time-elapse bezel, as well as the brand's in-house P.9000 self-winding calibre to provide its power.

Panerai timepieces have proven popular in the eye of celebrities recently, with the governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, spotted wearing one of the products, Hodinkee reported.
