Pandas highlighted in new Ulysse Nardin watch

First published: 06-07-2011

The furry and loveable nature of pandas is the main focus of a new timepiece design from Ulysse Nardin.

A parent and cub of the delicate animal breed can be seen decorated across the dial of the Ulysse Nardin Ladies Caprice Panda.

Each panda is brought to life on the watch through an array of black and white diamonds, which sit on a clear white background.

The image is made even cuter thanks to the design also including an array of bamboo sticks, which the cub can be seen feasting on.

Time is easily read due to easy-to-see hour and minute hands, while pink rubies mark each hour around the dial.

Other features of this fashion watch include an elegant white-gold case, a diamond-set rotor styled in gold and power reserve of 42 hours.

Fashionistas will need to be quick to get their hands on this timepiece though, as Ulysse Nardin, which has been in the watchmaking market since 1846, are only making 28 of the pieces available.
