New watch tells time in world records

Running enthusiasts or those who have an appreciation for human achievements may have the perfect watch to match their expectations.

That's because the Mr Jones watch company have announced the On Foot, a limited edition timepiece limited to 100 models.

With an impressive green, red and yellow-striped white watch strap, the clock face also matches the colour scheme, though the circular bands which follow the watch hands around are also able to demonstrate just how quick runners have been by showing corresponding times.

Mr Jones explained: "The outer arc shows records of less than 60 seconds: 100m, 200m and 400m; the sweep of the second hand corresponds with span of each record.

"The two inner arcs align with the minute and hour hand respectively, for records of under and over one hour, showing distances from 800 metres all the way up to 100km.

Earlier this month, the Examiner's Ariel Adams warned buyers off investing in possible fake watches, highlighting that if a deal looks too good to be true, it most likely is.
