New version of Panerai Luminor Chrono Daylight 44mm unveiled

First published: 15-03-2011

Panerai Luminor has revealed an advanced version of one of its famous timepieces, which may interest watch fans to part with their cash.

The Chrono Daylight 44mm was first spotted being donned by Sylvester Stallone's character in the hit 1995 film Daylight.

Now, Watch Time reported that a new edition of this ticker, dubbed the PAM 356, will be available to consumers, with a vintage style hinting towards the original.

The news source commented: "The brushed stainless steel case and polished bezel make PAM 356 a stronger and sportier interpretation of the original."

Some other features of this Panerai Luminor timepiece include an eye-catching black dial, which offers "excellent legibility and clarity" and a water resistance of 100m offering some practicality to it.

Finishing off the Chrono Daylight 44mm is an alligator strap, complete with a Panerai Luminor personalised steel adjustable buckle.

Meanwhile, for the promotion of last year's action thriller The Expendables, Hollywood names like Jason Statham and Sylvester Stallone donned another Panerai Luminor, this time the 1950 Regatta Rattrapante.
