New line of Fossil watches provides 'chic accessories'

First published: 24-07-2009

Although many women are used to smaller timepieces adorning their wrists, a new line of Fossil watches may just change the trend, according to an expert.

Fibre2fashion, a leading business-to-business hub for the style industry, explained that the Boyfriend range by Fossil is "defined by juxtaposition and contrast" and that the collection is able to represent the bohemian movement through its "natural texture, vintage colour and pieced patchworks".

The resource noted that the name is undoubtedly derived from the big, oversized dial which is usually a "quintessential men's style" but has been cleverly reimagined for women who desire "bold features and multi-functionality" from their wrist.

Furthermore, Fibre2fashion said the Boyfriend range is not without a wide array of choice, providing a strong line-up of materials for the strap and casing from leather to brass to plastic, reflecting the personality of the wearer.

Fossil watches were recently complimented by Michael Gartenberg of SlashGear, who said the company's Palm design was an absolutely classic digital offering.
