Neon colours are ''fantastic'' for spring

First published: 19-04-2010

It''s time you stepped out into the brighter lights of the new season and show off your style with some neon accents and colours, according to new recommendations from a leading style resource.

In a new release for Fabsugar, it was argued that neon is still "glowing bright" as a colour to go with any other outfits, whether it is applied through footwear, bags and - in particular - watches.

The source explained: "For starters, we love neon bursts in accessories, like a cool timepiece or mixed-metal jewellery. The key to styling? Opt for one amazing statement piece that lends a lot of neon flair."

While the magazine recommended a Marc Jacobs offering, it may be more suited to people to buy a Casio watch from the Baby G line-up or, if you''re a gent, a G-Shock.

After all, the neon look of watches from Casio was recently given celebrity endorsement from Rihanna, who wore the popular Baby G line on her wrist in the video for her new song Rude Boy.
