Maurice Lacroix watch focuses on seconds display

Watch fans that are looking for a product which is unique in its design may want to check out a new, "truly fascinating spectacle" of a timepiece from Maurice Lacroix.

Entitled the Masterpiece Roue Carree Seconde, the model stands out for the fact that its main feature on its dial is the seconds display, instead of the hour and minute hands that are the usual common element of wristwatches.

Watch Luxus reported that this is achieved through a square wheel mechanism, which "comes to life before your very eyes, thanks to the steadfast, rhythmic movement" of it.

This feature is activated via a clover-leaf-shaped wheel at the top left corner of the square seconds display, which turns it in a continuous motion.

Maurice Lacroix, which has been making appealing watches since 1961, allows this feature to stand out by opting to display the hour and minute hands with a simple design, with each finished with a coat of superluminova.
