Mango watches - Scarlett Johansson becomes brand ambassador

As part of a new push to promote its products including clothing and watches, Mango has enlisted the help of an actress known for her popularity with both male and female audiences alike.

Lost in Translation star Scarlett Johansson has appeared in a set of edgy and somewhat raunchy promotional photos for the company, with the Scandinavian beauty taking over from Penelope Cruz, her Vicky Cristina Barcelona co-star.

The adverts feature the actress in various poses on a sofa and the floor, with Scarlett sprawled around wearing a leopard-print top paired with a beautiful black dress - part of Mango's autumn/winter range, which may also include a selection of watches.

Commenting on the collaboration, Mango stated: "Johansson is the epitome of an elegant, sensual woman who is at the same time both creative and inquisitive, and always aware of the latest fashion."

This month, Ryan Reynolds - the lucky husband of Scarlett - told Glamour magazine that he wanted to adopt children as there are "plenty of kids in the world that need it".
