Hollywood's biggest movers and shakers came out to play at the 84th Academy Awards on Sunday (February 26th), with a range of luxury watches and dazzling jewellery also on display.

Jean Dujardin was one of the stars of the evening, as he picked up the best actor gong for his role in The Artist. The 39-year-old Frenchman's choice of timepiece also did not disappoint, as he sported a Jaeger-LeCoultre for his stint on the red carpet.

According to Retail Jeweller, Dujardin wore a Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea watch while celebrating the biggest moment of his career.

The model is a re-edition of the world's first diver's watch, complete with an alarm function.

Dujardin, who has been widely praised for his portrayal of a silent film star who must deal with the advent of "talkies" in the late 1920s, may have stolen most of the headlines on the night.

He saw off competition from George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Gary Oldman and Demian Bichir to win the Oscar.

However, a string of Hollywood's leading ladies also grabbed photographers' attention when they were snapped wearing eye-catching jewellery at the prestigious ceremony in Los Angeles.

Images published by Professional Jeweller showed Emma Stone sporting a bracelet and a pair of earrings by Louis Vuitton, while Cameron Diaz wore a platinum and round diamond Dome ring by Tiffany and Co.

The star of Charlie's Angels and Vanilla Sky also accessorised with a platinum and emerald-cut diamond necklace by Tiffany and Co.

Following the ceremony, Diaz quickly changed into jewellery by David Webb to try out a different look for the Vanity Fair after-party.

Michelle Williams, who was nominated in the best actress category for her role in My Week with Marilyn, was pictured wearing a Forevermark diamond necklace on the red carpet.
