Luke Evans named as new face of Police watches

First published: 23-03-2012

Luke Evans has become the last star name to become an ambassador for a line of watches as he has signed a deal with Police.

The rising star, who is set to appear in the new films The Raven and The Hobbit, will be used in the company's advertising campaigns.

He joins a line of other stars who have promoted the watch brand, including Spanish singer David Bustamante.

A stylish image of Evans wearing the brand's new Defender watch, which went on sale earlier this month, has already been released.

The black and white image shows the Welsh actor in a white T-shirt wearing the watch and a pair of the brand's aviator sunglasses that have been coloured in blue.

It is also likely that he will start to wear the company's trendy timepieces at events.

The new contract secures Evan's place as one of Hollywood's best dressed men, as last year he was shortlisted for GQ's best dressed man award.
