Lindsay Lohan ''quizzed'' over suspected watch theft

First published: 27-04-2010

Actress and part-time singer Lindsay Lohan has been named a suspect in the alleged theft of a $35,000 (£22,715) Rolex watch, according to law enforcement sources speaking to a popular celebrity news source.

TMZ revealed that one of Lindsay''s associates supposedly left the timepiece at Lindsay''s house earlier this year completely by accident, with it never being returned.

Despite this, rumours are floating around that police have photographic evidence that could lead to the prosecution of the actress, with the website adding that police visited her home last week to question her about the desirable watch.

No arrests have been made in the case and Lindsay''s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley has already affirmed to TMZ that "the allegations are completely untrue", though the bad news keeps racking up.

It was revealed earlier this week that Lindsay Lohan stood up her own father who was hoping to meet her to discuss family troubles over the last few years.
