Le Mans sponsor launches two new watches

World-famous watch manufacturer Richard Millie has used the tenth anniversary of its sponsorship agreement for the Le Mans 24-hour race to launch two limited additions watches - the RM 011 LMC chronograph and the RM 008 LMC tourbillon chronograph.

Richard Millie has been ever-present at the event since 2002 and has since seen its reputation develop as a result.

This year, though, the firm has decided to take advantage of its exposure by launching the new timepieces, both of which may attract the interest of some racegoers.

"Since 2002, there has been complete osmosis between this event and its principal partner, whose logo appeared everywhere: from the track itself, to the shiny bodies of the racing cars," Richard Millie explained in a statement.

The Le Mans 24-hour race is the oldest sports car endurance race on record. It has been staged near the town of Le Mans, France, since 1923.
