LTD Watches lovers claim top spot

First published: 16-11-2009

LTD Watches fans will be undoubtedly overjoyed to hear about the latest exploits of one of their biggest celebrity endorsers, the band JLS.

That is because the four-piece boy band is now number one in the UK album charts, beating the highly-hyped Robbie Williams and his new effort to the coveted spot while also dethroning fellow former reality show star Cheryl Cole, whose 3 Words album has already hit platinum.

The former Take That singer, whose Reality Killed the Video Star offering was widely tipped to be the winner of the mini-battle of the bands, had to settle for second best, after Robbie fell behind by 20,000 sales when the album chart was revised.

JLS, who released their LTD Watches offering earlier in the autumn, had to deal with bad news recently however, after crowd surges to see the band turn on Birmingham's Christmas lights resulted in around 60 injuries.

The guys sent their best wishes to those caught up in the crush.
