Kim Sears dazzles crowd with Tag Heur diamond-set watch at Wimbledon 2012

All eyes may be on Andy Murray as the Scot closes in on a first Wimbledon title, but his girlfriend Kim Sears was doing her best to steal some of his limelight yesterday (July 2nd).

Murray himself enjoyed a frustrating afternoon on Number One court at the All England Club, owing to persistent rain which meant that he was only able to complete one set of his match with Marin Cilic.

Ms Sears, however, dazzled throughout the afternoon, thanks to her refined taste in fashion and complementary jewellery.

The 24-year-old took her place in the crowd wearing a £795 Burberry trench coat and a lovely Tag Heur diamond-set watch, worth as much as £1,750.

Ms Sears, it would seem, is fast becoming something of a style icon on the tennis scene, with fashion experts comparing her sense of taste to Dutchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.

With her long flowing hair and elegant taste in fashion, it is clear to see why she fits in so well on the tennis scene, where the likes of Ana Ivanovic and Serena Williams already grab plenty of attention.

Earlier in the championship, Ms Sears was seen wearing a £135 clover print dress from Whistles, while a couple of days later she could be seen wearing a more modestly-priced floral blazer from Zara, costing £49.99.

Murray, of course, has yet to win a Grand Slam title in his career, but his girlfriend will hope to have the opportunity to show off the rest of her wardrobe over the next few days.

With Spaniard Rafael Nadal having been knocked out last week, the door seems ajar for Murray to make it to the Men's Final.

Elsewhere at the championships, 2004 Wimbledon winner and Tag Heur ambassador Maria Sharapova was surprisingly eliminated by little-known German Sabine Lisicki.

As perhaps the most glamorous player on the women's tour, Sharapova's exit is sure to hit viewing figures as the tournament reaches its climax. But with plenty of top-class players still left in the event, tennis lovers (and fashionistas) have plenty to look forward to!
