Jorg Gray doubles sales in the UK

American watch designer Jorg Gray has announced that its UK sales rose by 102 per cent in 2013.

The company also stated that it doubled the number of stockists in this market during the same period.

In a statement, Jorg Gray described its performance in the last year as a "sharp rise in its continued growing success story".

One of the reasons for this good news is that the watch brand hired a PR and marketing firm to run a new TV ad campaign in the lead-up to Christmas.

The strategy was so successful that the company is planning to repeat it in the fourth quarter of 2014.

Stormbrand is the UK distributor of Jorg Gray products and put its strong sales results down to an increased marketing push and the development of new watch collections.

Chief operating officer of Stormbrand Claire Perkins expressed her delight at the promising figures.

She added Jorg Gray products were of good value, design and quality - while claiming that 2014 was going to be a good year for the company.
