Some of the best new designs from the world of jewellery are currently being housed together under one roof at the Jewellery Show 2012.

The latest instalment of the event opened at the NEC Birmingham and will run through to February 9th, with shoppers and buyers alike attending to find the best products for the coming season.

There is a huge range of different designs available at the show, ranging from stylish silver designs and semi-precious jewellery through to displays of fine jewellery, featuring some of the best examples of stones such as diamonds and emeralds.

In addition, those on the hunt for something a little more unique could find just what they are searching for in the Design Quarter, which has been doubled in size for this year's event.

Both British and international designers are showcasing their designs in the room, with many taking inspiration from their own diverse cultures in order to craft stunning and intricate items including rings, bracelets and necklaces.

This year, the show is also hosting a watch room for the first time, with the Time section offering a range of the world's best watches, both in terms of their innovative technical mechanisms and their gorgeous designs.

People looking for an added touch of glamour during their visit to the show can also head over to one of the fashion shows which take place daily, offering the chance to see some of the designs on display worn alongside the latest summer fashions to provide inspiration on how each of the looks can be worn.

A special jewellery initiative has also been created to encourage the best of British talent in time for London Fashion Week later this month, with designer Stephen Webster leading the panel of judges selecting the emerging designs who will take part.
