JLC watch wins Public Prize Award

A Jaeger-LeCoultre (JLC) timepiece has walked away with the Public Prize at the Montres Passion Watch of the Year.

The Duometre a Quantieme Lunaire is the watch in question that has been honoured with the accolade, which is the third time since 2004 that the manufacturer has achieved this prestigious award, Watch Time has reported.

JLC has made sure to offer a number of practical functions to the product, thanks to a date display and the moon phase, both located on a mini-dial near to the ten o'clock position, which may have helped earn the prize.

The watch also divides up the time by having the hour and minutes read through one mini-dial at the location of three o'clock, while a border around the face indicates to the wearer the precise second.

Watch fans who like the products offered by JLC may also be interested in the recently revealed Memovox World-Timer, which is elegantly designed due to a collaboration between the watchmaker and French boutique Colette, Hodinkee has reported.
