Ferrari is rumoured to be on the hunt for a new partner to collaborate with on a new fashion watch, it has been revelaed.

New watch designs obtained by Luxist, the new timpiece has been conceived in partnership with designer Jean-Francios Ruchonnet on behalf of luxury Swiss watch brand Cabestan.

The website notes that the so-called Scuderia Ferrari One prototype will be based on a modern Ferrari car design, with carbon fibre features and a strap made from fabric used in the car.

Ferrari''s new offering looks as if it will have enough of a bizarre appearance and quirky features to challenge even the strangest Tokyo Flash watches and other brands that pride themselves on strange time pieces.

The most recent Tokyo Flash release features three concentric circles, placed independently across the watch face, intended to enable the wearer to tell the time at a glance, while maintaining the brand''s quirkiness.
