Luxury Swiss watch producer Hublot has announced that it is fulfilling its role as official watchmaker of Formula One by unveiling the F1 King Power, the brand''s first official timepiece for the racing series.

The brand claims that it is presenting users with a unique design inspired by Formula One racing and is the result of a number of weeks of collaboration between itself and the sport''s management team.

The F1 King Power is presented in a satin-finished Zirconium case that is 48mm in diameter, while a special Zirconium and ceramic bezel is produced to look like a Formula One car brake assembly.

A chronograph also mimics the functions of a presently-used Formula One steering wheel and the strap is also made from extra-comfortable rubber and an outer layer made from Nomex, which is used in the racing suits of drivers in the tournament.

Jenson Button, with two wins from four races, currently leads the Formula One championship standings on 60 points, ten ahead of second-placed Nico Rosberg.
