Guess watches - Fashion and fragrance collide

A global leader in the beauty industry has teamed with Guess watches to create a new fragrance line aimed at the popular brand's customers.

The licensing agreement will see Coty developing and distributing exclusive perfumes as well as existing Guess offerings and will take effect in January.

Coty chief executive Bernd Beetz believes the deal with the organisation will bring the best out of his company and will reflect the "edgy style and flirtatious fashion" which the likes of Guess watches offer.

Guess' vice-chairman and chief executive officer Paul Marciano said the deal was a "quantum leap" for the firm.

He continued: "This collaboration with Coty will provide the perfect platform for Guess to create innovative, highly desirable and luxurious fragrances that reflect our company's image and legacy.

"It symbolises both a strategic and creative alliance. We are very excited about our partnership with Coty."

Coty is the world's largest perfume company and also provides fragrances for Calvin Klein, Adidas, Kenneth Cole and Pierre Cardin.
