Guess Watches calling for timepiece bloggers

Luxury mens and womens watch brand Guess has sent out a call to all bloggers with a passion for timepieces to become an official contributor to the Guess Access Blog.

The invitation is part of the luxury watch manufacturer's new competition dubbed "One to Watch- Global Blogger Search." Open to fashion-savvy timepiece fans across the world, Guess are hoping to unearth fans with the right voice and writing talent to share their thoughts on the brand.

The new campaign is being launched via the Guess Watches Facebook page. Competition could be fierce though, with the social media page already amassing over one million avid watch fans.

In order to be in with a chance of winning a place as an ambassador for the firm, users must first of all create a unique personal profile on the site that features a custom-built style board to offer their personal thoughts of fashion and watches.

This profile must then be shared with friends via Facebook, with the aim of amassing "style points" from your peers and followers alike.

Would-be bloggers have 90 days to enter the competition, with the top 10 candidates with the most style points for each country moved on to a second round of judging, where they will be asked to submit their own blogging assignment.

Fashion and watch fans will have to be on their toes for this tough task, with each submission carefully reviewed by a select panel of judges.

The two best blogger entries will then be selected to represent each country, with each finalist receiving worldwide recognition for their efforts as well as some Guess watch products to enjoy throughout the year.

Commenting on the competition, Sequel AG president Cindy Livingston told the Star online: "This is a great opportunity for our brand to be able to partner with young bloggers from around the world and let their voices be heard on a global platform.

"We will be able to showcase their talent on the Guess Access Blog and inspire others to be a part of the lifestyle."

The closing date for entries has been set for July 20th, with the finalists subsequently announced in September.
