Glashutte Original honours the 60s

Fashion watch enthusiasts may want to feast their eyes upon a new timepiece from Glashutte Original.

The brand's Sixties Square Tourbillon provides plenty of nods towards the 1960s era, such as the square cushion style of its case, which is decorated in an elegant tone of rose gold.

Another eye-catching feature of the timepiece is the fact that its three, nine and twelve numerals are designed in a unique format to showcase the decade.

These all sit across a rich matt silver dial, which also displays a double-digit date indicator at 12 o'clock and a flying tourbillon at the six o'clock position.

Some other attractive elements of this luxury watch include a considerable 48-hour power reserve, to allow time to keep on ticking, as well as some of the Saxon manufactory being able to be viewed through the domed sapphire crystal caseback.

Glashutte Original, a brand which has been associated with watchmaking since the 19th century, will be limiting the range to only 50 pieces though, so consumers will need to be quick to grab a device.
