Giuliani Mazzuoli announces Contagirl

Watchmaker Giuliani Mazzuoli has unveiled his brand new timepiece, which is aimed at watch fans who are after a product that resembles the motor racing world.

Called the Contagirl, the watch has been in development for four years, though it could be time well spent by Mr Mazzuoli, Professional Jeweller has reported.

That is because the look and style of the timepiece screams of elegancy and originality, some of which can be seen just by looking at the face of the Contagirl.

Instead of having a layout where the time is read from a traditional circular design, this watch decides to go for a look that can be best described as looking like a rev or speedometer, with twelve numbers indicating each respective hour.

Watch fans will get a bit of variety when picking out their Contagirl model too, with a choice of either a stainless steel with diamond-like carbon case or one with an 18 carat rose gold and titanium design – both of which are finished with a black rubber strap.

Car and watch enthusiasts were recently treated to the first details of a timepiece being made through a collaboration of watchmaker Parmigiani Fleurier and supercar makers Bugatti, Hodinkee has reported.
