Girard-Perregaux has added a luxury watch to one of its most clean and refined collections, which may appeal to timepiece wearers.

The Girard-Perregaux 1966 Small Second features a rather sizeable 40mm rounded case, which can be finished in either white or rose gold material, Watch Luxus reported.

Fitting into the company's 1966 Collection, the timepiece uses a 'Grand Feu' enamel substance for its dial, which makes this part of the watch resistant, as well as "lending it depth and a unique character", according to the news source.

Girard-Perregaux, which has plenty of experience making fashionable timepieces having been in the industry since 1791, has decorated the dial with painted Arabic numerals, blue-toned hour and minute hands and a second sub-dial at the six o'clock location.

Watch Luxus also noted: "The diversity and richness of the decorations and finishes adorning the multiple components can be seen through a transparent sapphire case-back."
