Girard-Perregaux details new Cat's Eye watch

A new timepiece in the Girard-Perregaux Cat's Eye collection is sure to appeal to watch fans looking for a dazzling design.

Entitled the Cat's Eye Tourbillon Haute Joaillerie, one of the key elements of the device is the fact that it is entirely set with baguette-cut diamonds.

A total of 287 gems make up the dial and case design of the timepiece, while a gold bridge at six o'clock creates a gap in the scheme, to allow for a peek inside the inner workings of the device.

To keep the time-reading elements of the watch simple, Girard-Perregaux has chosen to decorate the dial with only hour and minute markers.

Recently, the watchmaker revealed the Cat's Eye Small Second timepiece, which features a mother-of-pearl dial in either a white or black tone and a case embellished by diamonds.

Consumers also receive a choice in the finish of this watch's case, with either white or red-gold styles being the options.
